IMPORTANT NOTES :
1 - This is a FULLY ONSITE position . Please only submit currently LOCAL candidates who are willing and able to work onsite, full time in this role.
2 - This is a 37.5-hour work week. Make sure your candidates are aware of this.
The Client currently has a very large inventory of replacement devices that need to be deployed. The team doing deployments is not able to keep up with the rate of deployment, so they are seeking a desktop support technician who can help unpack, stage, configure and deploy replacement devices from inventory.
They also have to order over 700 more devices, so this additional resource will ensure they can catch up with the backlog and be in a position to receive newly ordered devices in the coming months.

Experience troubleshooting basic desktop laptop / hardware / software issues is required. Experience provisioning equipment with Microsoft technology (SCCM) if preferred but not required.
Responsibilities include :
Performs preliminary troubleshooting and technical assistance for hardware and associated software.
Resolves customer issues where applicable and within position skill set.
Escalates customer issue appropriately.
Maintains professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions with customer base and internal / external teams.
Unpacking, staging desktop and laptop hardware to prepare for deployment to agency
Imaging and installation of software onto devices
