Boston Public Health Commission is Hiring a Project Manager (Property Management at Northampton Square) Near Boston, MA
- Responsible for the management of the department's construction projects from initiation of funding to the official completion and turnover of building or space.
- Works in a confidential capacity with the Directors.
- Managing architects, engineers, consultants, project planning, project design, construction budget and meetings regarding the development of BPHC.
- Gather Program/Department information related to space requirements and move requirements.
- Develops and coordinates move plans pertaining to space, occupancy plans, cabling requirements, IT, cost estimates, furniture and timelines for all aspects of project.
- Works with all user departments/programs and coordinates all vendors necessary to set-up, furnish and work in Commission space.
- Communicates construction plans, regular project reporting and has experience with PM software.
- Draft RFP's prepare reports and presentations as required.
- May supervise other employees.
- Can operate independently and work closely with Commission management while using independent judgment and discretion to make decisions affecting the department and staff as it relates to unit operations/services and BPHC policy.
- Performs other duties as required.
