DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE: 

Boostlingo is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our talented engineering team. As the Senior Software Engineer, you will be expected to provide leadership and technical direction for our engineering team. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps and product teams to help define and improve how we build, test, and ship our products. You must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, and must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and manage your workload while providing guidance to other team members.

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF THIS ROLE

• Experience with version control systems (Git, TFS, Mercurial, etc.)
• Experience with a Angular of Backbone JS
• Working with REST APIs, Web services, Creating/parsing data in various formats
• Working with various data transfer protocol
• 4 years of expertise with .Java and Groovy
• 2 years of experience with REACT for Mobile
• Experience with Bootstrap for front end.
• Experience with MySQL
• Integrating multiple applications together and transferring data back and forth
• Experience with mobile web development
• Knowledge of Responsive Web Design (RWD)
• Experience implementing Design patterns like MVC, Event Driven, Pub-Sub, etc.
• Experience building Automatic Unit Tests Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering or mathematical field of study; At least 5 years of recent professional web programming work experience
• Working in a agile work environment
