DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE: 

Boostlingo is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our talented engineering team. As the Senior Software Engineer, you will be expected to provide leadership and technical direction for our engineering team. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps and product teams to help define and improve how we build, test, and ship our products. You must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, and must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and manage your workload while providing guidance to other team members.

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF THIS ROLE

• Requirements and Development Skills:

  • Proficiency in utilizing version control systems (Git, TFS, Mercurial, etc.)
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining high-traffic, public-facing web applications
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions based on Microservice architecture
  • Skilled in utilizing Visual Studio as primary development environments
  • Strong background working with REST APIs, web services, creating/parsing data in various formats
  • Expertise in applying various design patterns like MVC, Event Driven, Pub-Sub, etc.
  • In-depth understanding and application of Object-Oriented Paradigm, SOLID principles
  • Advance skills in Angular, CSS, Bootstrap for frontend development
  • Hands-on experience with server-side technologies like .NET Core and .NET 5.
  • Proficiency in C# concepts including interfaces, generics, lambda expressions, parallelism, delegates and events, multithreading, etc.
  • Experience with SQL and Non SQL database systems
  • Integrating multiple applications together and transferring data back and forth
  • Knowledge of mobile web development
  • Understanding of Responsive Web Design (RWD)
  • Experience building Automatic Unit Tests Knowledge of CI/CD and general DevOps principle
