Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in creating a memorable experience for our customers. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly
- Prepare and mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current drink offerings, specials, and promotions
- Engage with customers, answer questions, and address any concerns or issues
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their preparation methods
- Familiarity with basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Basic understanding of food handling safety guidelines
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
