Description

Job Summary

As a dedicated and highly driven Inside Sales Representative you are responsible for the management and coordination of The Companys walk in and call-in customers. This individual will need to be motivated and required to meet and exceed our customers expectations while increasing sales revenue and gross profit margins. As the Inside Sales Representative, this person will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manager with various market research/analysis and sales support tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Answer phone calls in a timely manner and respond to walk in customers as needed.
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Maintain professional appearance of show room and ensure all sales items are thoroughly clean.
  • Ensures that adequate sales literature for all sales lines is available and displayed.
  • Reviews new and used equipment & attachment list & reports daily to determine product availability.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with all departments.
  • Responsible for generating leads to the Outside Sales Specialists through phone calls, social media, and emails.
  • Cold-call and email prospects to qualify the lead; identify decision makers to begin sales process.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell customers.
  • Maintain an organized process for tracking quotes to customers and leads to Outside Sales Specialist.
  • Perform follow-up communication with customers in a reasonable period being two hours or less in addition to providing quotes.
  • Follow up on sales quotes.
  • Loading and off-loading of equipment stock and transport equipment as needed.
  • Assist with stock numbers and inventory counts, as needed.
  • Be proficient with Doosan Passport to include DealerNET, Bobcat University, IRW and Dealer Dashboard.
  • Be proficient with all DealNET portals to include pricing pages, sales programs, protection plus, product information, etc.
  • Ability to comprehend, capture and interpret customer and equipment information.
  • Proficient in Customer Relationship Management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, leadership and interpersonal relationship building. Must be an excellent collaborator and listener.
  • Work well under pressure with the ability to set and manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands of the work environment.
  • Ability to operate all equipment effectively and safely.
  • Must be able to operate and demonstrate machines and attachments.
  • Must be able to work independently and without supervision.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
  • Associate degree in business or related discipline preferred Prior experience in sales, rental and or customer service experience is required Effectively work from remote locations.
  • Familiar with the use of heavy equipment in a comparable industry experience preferred.
  • Valid drivers license.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
  • Industry knowledge, a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an inside/outside sales role.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others in a positive and professional manner.
  • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as necessary to accommodate customers needs.
  • Available to travel when needed for training.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and maintain balance for extensive periods of time, and ability to climb into and out of cab multiple times per shift. The associate must be able to lift 50 lbs. Constantly perform repetitive tasks; stretch, turn, twist, and reach overhead; bend, crouch, squat, kneel and stoop.

Environmental working conditions vary from extremes in temperature and wind, as well as exposure to varied weather.
