Junior Accountant Job Summary

Your responsibilities will include the preparation of journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, monthly end close, budget analysis, and providing supervision to the AP and AR teams. Junior Accountant Duties and Responsibilities

• Junior Accountant will prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist Controller with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Junior Accountant will process monthly sales and use tax filing.
• Ensure sales taxes are paid appropriately, record journal entries for over or under payments.
• Will perform monthly balance sheet and P&L variance analysis
• The Junior Accountant will oversee AR & AP team.
• Other duties as assigned by the Controller.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
