Bluewater Learning is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Development Representative who can deliver measurable success. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, an excellent communicator, can work well within a cooperative and friendly team as well as being able to work on their own initiative. The primary focus of the role is to develop top-of-funnel opportunities and qualify customers and prospective customers for a hand-off for our Sales Executives. Bluewater has developed and continually refined the processes to make this process unlike others. We have years of relationships with many of our customers and we have a known brand in the LMS space so the SDR has multiple ways to engage in warm interactions as opposed to only cold interactions. We’ve also incorporated the right technology tools and marketing tactics to make the role fun and engaging, not drudgery! The successful candidate must firstly be able to show a proven track record of top-of-funnel success and exceeding personal targets. Secondly, show they have the initiative to impact positive change to add value to our business. We want to help you grow too.

Core Responsibilities

Will identify new leads and qualification process to create new sales opportunities for the sales executives.

  • Responsible for Bluewater top of funnel Sales cycle.
  • Experience identifying and bringing new prospective customers into the funnel.
  • Metrics to be measured:
  • New lead creation
  • Value of lead pipeline
  • Rate of lead qualification
  • Quota attainment
  • The candidate should have experience of acquiring new opportunities with new and existing clients and working in a team selling environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
  • Candidate must be comfortable in the role managing all these elements simultaneously.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and prefers working as part of a team rather than working independently.
  • The candidate must align their values with The Bluewater Way, complex capabilities, and expertise to prospects and customers.
  • Represent Bluewater in a positive manner at conferences and events.
  • Excellent presence for in-person and online meetings.
  • L&D sales experience is a plus.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or Equivalent Work Experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
