In this role, you will work closely with our infrastructure, release, and development teams to maintain and improve our performance, security, and uptime standards. This role will give you hands-on experience with the design and operation of a modern microservice-based SaaS application.Responsibilities:Administration and maintenance of our hosting infrastructure located across 3 continentsRedundant LAMP stack setup, maintenance, and troubleshootingUse and maintenance of automated configuration management and deployment systemsResponse and resolution of service issuesAssist developers with systems-related issuesQualificationsRequirements:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsEffective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external clientsExperience running Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP, Ruby, or PythonExperience with desktop support, client services, or other user interactionExperience with automated configuration deployment and systems scriptingA documented history of hard work and engineering excellencePreferred:Understanding of HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS / BIND, LDAP, SMTPExperience with KVM, AWSExperience with information security: standards certification, auditing, and pen testingProven success in high-growth startup environmentsBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer ScienceAdditional InformationWork with blueStone recruiting to find your next career.
