Bluehawk Consulting is Hiring a Technical Program Manager Near Seattle, WA

Technical Project Manager
Huntsville, ALBluehawk Consulting is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support our client, an aerospace leader. Our client is making space travel possible, and your work will directly support putting people, research, and products safely in space.
Project Overview
In this role, you will lead projects to make production quality gains for aerospace propulsion systems. The outcome being compliance and safe rate gains. You will develop schedule, tools and deliver the outcome for prioritize projects. You will prepare high quality reporting for leadership providing cost, schedule, and ROI metrics.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain the team's operating cadence through communication to stakeholders, management of key performance indicators and project meetings to report key performance metrics (technical, cost, schedule, and risk).
  • Generate boards/tools necessary for project and product health to demonstrate results.
  • Performs scrum master role for product teams following agile development methods, including defining and executing team sprints.
  • Work with teams to deep dive challenges and bring forward ideas to remedy. You don't have to define the fix but guide the team to one.
  • The primary work is to identify challenges in the internal manufacturing process and work with component owners to resolve the concerns yielding the benefits.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3 years in Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer, Defense, Industrial or similar industries, executing design or production of mechanical/electrical assemblies.
  • 3 years of experience in technical program management, managing requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, and cost.
  • 3 years working directly with design for manufacturability, build to print, modified off the shelf.
  • 5 years working directly with engineering teams to bring products from concept to production.
  • Experienced at collecting and synthesizing information from multiple stakeholders and translating data into project requirements, scoping, and planning documents.
  • Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile, MS Project, P6 Primavera, or similar.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, U.S. Permanent Resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a Refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • More of the above experience.
  • Aerospace experience, for engine experience.
  • Product delivered with concerns for propulsion, vibration, shock, EMI/EMC, acoustics, electrical grounding/bonding.
Education
Required Education
  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (various), Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
