Blue Rose is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support our work with a federal client. This is an On-Site role in Washington, D.C. This is open to o U.S. Citizens and Dual Citizens ONLY.

Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

In this role you will:

• Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology
• Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution
• Research, gather and synthesize information
• Responsible for business and process analysis; work directly with clients to gather, refine and prioritize requirements; work with dev team on design and/or implementation strategies utilizing industry best practices; work with senior members of the team ensuring successful technical enhancements and implementations
• Liaise between business and technical professionals to architect solutions and build a mutual understanding between critical processes, applications, and technical requirements
• Work with project managers in interfacing with clients (This includes leading or participating in weekly meetings, requirements gathering, business needs identification and other ad-hoc communications)
• Build working knowledge of DOT Drupal content management system, including web content publishing workflows, taxononmy, web content authoring
• Provide content management expertise, resolving end user issues and offering training
• Define new CMS capabilities based on client requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Requirements Definition
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Agile User Story Mapping Tool
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Atlassian Jira

Bachelor’s Degree

Salary: $120,000 - $130,000
