Position Purpose:
This role follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely or from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office, located in Richmond, VA, is encouraged for tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.
As the HR Technology Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging technology to optimize HR operations, improve data accuracy and security, and enable data-driven decision-making. Your contributions will lead to better employee experiences, enhanced organizational efficiency, and improved business performance.
This role will report to the Head of HR Operations and Technology and have in-depth human resources information systems experience with a variety of complex technical functions related to user security, configurations, process workflows, functionality deployment, reporting automation, and system integrations.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and maintaining a company’s HR systems. Candidate must be forward-looking and receptive to new ideas as essential elements of continuous improvement. Collaboration, employee focus, creative problem-solving, data-driven, active listening, and influencing skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and maintenance of the company’s current HR systems, (Paylocity, BVS, Ease, and OneStop ticketing system), as well as identify gaps and opportunities for upgrading HR systems based on new technologies and trends.
As the HR Technology Manager, you will be the ‘go to’ person for HR systems, analytics and reporting needs and the subject matter expert on HR systems in general. You will serve as a technical point person on important HR projects. You will assess the effectiveness of current systems and processes, and partner with the team to improve and evolve the HR Systems. This role requires a responsive, communicative, deadline oriented individual able to consistently deliver high quality, accurate work. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
HRIS Applications Strategy - working with both internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and drive the planning, development, testing, and implementation of the systems.
HR Reporting and Service Delivery including, but not limited to, each stage of the employee journey, including onboarding, employee status changes, and off-boarding.
HR Systems - responsible for oversight, optimizing, and maintaining Paylocity and other HR systems.
HR Data Management and Analytics – responsible for data governance and accuracy
