Job Description:
The Sr Accounting Analyst is the highest-levelstaff position & is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, &budgeting of various activities for all divisions. The Sr AccountingAnalyst may also oversee accounting staff in the performance of their duties;participates as a representative of the finance division on multi-disciplinaryteams within the organization; serves as a resource across the entire organization& is responsible for the preparation & presentation of periodicexternal financial reporting.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Required in finance or accounting
- Preferred certifications: CertifiedMgmt Account and Certified Public Accountant
- 7 years of experience required, 10preferred
- Proven accounting skills andknowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Experience and proficiency withenterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Demonstrated ability to performvariance analysis
- Software experience: PeopleSoft andHyperion
