Seeking a qualified candidate to servefull-time on a contract basis as a Project Manager for the CMO Procurement andImplementation Project. The qualified candidate must work efficiently andeffectively and possess strong organizational, communication, and leadershipskills. The candidate will work under a Senior Project Manager, but will havedefined responsibilities and areas of specialty. Information technology andtechnical skills and experience implementing technical or other complex,multi-stakeholder projects will be useful. Experience with process automationand administrative simplification will be helpful. Extensive understanding ofproject management principles, methods and techniques is necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities
·Support project manager with assigned projectmanagement tasks and follow leadership directives
·Manage multiple project tasks on a day-to-daybasis and all aspects of related projects to ensure the overall program isaligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
·Report on project success criteria, outcomes andresults metrics, test and deployment management activities
·Work creatively and analytically in aproblem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
·Prepare estimates and detailed project plans forall phases of a project including project schedules and roadmaps
·Provide status reporting regarding projectmilestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating acrossleadership groups and stakeholders including management and third parties.
·Understand interdependencies between technology,operations and business process needs and assist with coordination between CMOproject and other enterprise projects and initiatives including MEST Programprojects, Enterprise Data Management project, data governance, administrativesimplification, and business process automation initiatives.
·Work collaboratively with business owners toidentify gaps and areas of concern and document for solution.
·Demonstrate a functional acumen to support howsolutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industrybest practices
·Manage project scope and changes
·Support vendor selection and proposal evaluationprocess
·Act as an internal quality control check for theproject
·Assist in develop and delivery of progressreports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations, statements ofwork to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, senior management,and key stakeholders
·Ensure that projects and program are proceedingaccording to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
·Monitor and Manage project issues and risks
·Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ PreferredQualifications
·BA or BS in Management, Health Administration,Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science orrelated field is preferred
·At least 3 years of experience in management ofcomplex project procurement and implementations
·Project Management Professional (PMP)®Certification required
·Experience in SDLC methodologies, Agile,Iterative, Waterfall
·Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivationalskills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple businessareas
·Proven ability to work creatively andanalytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork,innovation and excellence
·Excellent communication (written, verbal andpresentation) and interpersonal skills
·Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability toadapt to change and competing demands
·Documented experience in successfully leadingprojects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget
·Experience working both independently and in ateam-oriented, collaborative environment
·Flexible with proven ability to conform toshifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical andproblem-solving capabilities
·Technically competent with various softwareprograms, including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word,Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Project, but also project managementand SDCL software tools
·Adept at conducting research intoproject-related issues and products
·Support diverse and inclusive work environment
·Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving businessproblems, making decisions and identifying priorities
