Beauty Industry Group ("BIG") is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to join our HR team and support our growing organization. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic HR professional who collaborates closely with business leaders to develop and implement HR initiatives that drive organizational success. This role involves understanding the business goals, assessing workforce needs, and providing customized HR solutions that contribute to the achievement of both short-term and long-term objectives. 

Strategic Partnering:

• Develop a deep understanding of the business unit's goals, challenges, and operational context.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Provide insights and guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.

Employee Relations:

• Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and provide resolution strategies.
• Work to maintain a healthy employee relations climate and promote a culture of open communication.

Talent Management:

• Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs and develop effective recruitment and retention strategies.
• Support the performance management process, providing guidance on goal-setting, feedback, and development plans.
• Work on succession planning and career development initiatives.

Change Management:

• Lead HR initiatives related to organizational change, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
• Assist in developing and implementing change management plans to ensure smooth transitions.
• Advocate for employee engagement during times of change.

HR Policy and Compliance:

• Interpret and apply HR policies and procedures consistently across the business unit.
• Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance on HR-related legal issues and risks.

HR Data Management/Projects:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Generate HR reports and metrics as needed.
• Participate in and lead HR-related projects as assigned.
• Backup support for payroll processing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
• 5 years of proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
