BCL Search is Hiring an Executive & Personal Assistant to CEO of Tech Start Up Near New York, NY
Our client, a dynamic tech company based in San Francisco, is looking to hire an Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant in NYC to provide executive level support to their CEO. In this position, the candidate will serve as a liaison between the Executive and senior management teams. The successful candidate must be extremely bright and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is results- driven and community oriented. The candidate must have excellent attention to detail, be proactive and thoughtful, resourceful and humble. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver by nature. This is a growing firm and the candidate must have also have a team-player mentality and excellent interpersonal skills. Sensitivity to confidential matters is required. This person must be NYC local, as they will work out of the CEO’s house 2x a week, and WFH the other 3x a week. RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage an extremely active calendar and be true "Gatekeeper" to Executive. Plan, coordinate and ensure the Executive's schedule is followed and respected
Process and reconcile expense reports
Arrange complex and detailed international and domestic travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings
Correspond with clients and friends/family for the Executive on both personal and business email address, drafting correspondence to clients and other people for the Executive on a daily basis
Communicate directly, and on behalf of the Executive, with, Board members and others, on matters related to Executive's programmatic initiatives
Provide communication between the Executive's office and senior executive team; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff
Help with some event planning including dinner parties, executive retreats, company offsites, photo shoots and birthday's
Assist with some personal work such as: appointments, dinner reservations, dry cleaning, watering plants, getting lunches, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferred
5-10 years of experience supporting C-Level Executives
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners and donors
Expert level written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
Emotional maturity is a MUST
Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Proficient in Google Suite such as GMAIL, Google Calendar
SALARY $120-160K base bonus 3 weeks PTO, 1 week company shut down, 5 sick days, wfh and wellness stipends and more. Hours are 10am-6pm with the flexibility to be reachable by phone after hours. HOURS 10:00am-6:00pm checking phone after hours 1-2 days/week in the executive's home#IND1
