The Systems Division specializes in the Design and Integration of lighting control systems within the architectural and entertainment industries, such as broadcast studios, theaters, educational institutions, themed environments, building facades, spires, stadiums, bridges, and many others.

Your Role: Field Project Manager

In this pivotal role, you will be the hub of our onsite installation operation, ensuring the efficient and timely assembly and startup of new lighting systems. Your mission is to foster the synergy between ideas and execution, helping to turn visionary projects into reality.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and inspire day-to-day job site operations.
  • Provide amazing onsite support and guidance to our colleagues, customers, installers and subcontractors.
  • Communicate, collaborate and coordinate with our Project Management Team

Your Impact:

As a Field Project Manager, your contributions will resonate far and wide. You will:

  • Attend and contribute to Systems project hand-off meetings, becoming a crucial voice in our project planning and execution
  • Take ownership of projects from the commencement of installation, through execution, to completion
  • Conduct frequent site visits to support Project Management and Technical Services
  • Maintain close working relationships with forepersons, installers, field project managers and any other customer-related supervisors
  • Manage the intricacies of onsite politics and relationships
  • Represent Barbizon at onsite coordination meetings with all trades and clients
  • Oversee the lifecycle of project schedules.
  • Supervise onsite installations including fixture prep, hang and focus
  • Maintain a high level of communication with Barbizon Project Managers, Service Technicians, System Integrators and Salespeople
  • Generate Daily Field Reports
  • Provide excellent Customer Service

The salary range for a Field Project Manager at Barbizon Lighting’s Boston’s location is currently $55K to $70K per annum, depending upon experience. Please be aware extensive industry experience or specific skills that fully match, or exceed what is required, may in fact increase this range. We strongly encourage all to apply.

In addition to the base pay listed here, Barbizon offers a generous compensation package including medical, dental, life insurance, long-term disability, profit share, and a matching 401k Plan at no cost to the employee. The Company fully funds Barbizon’s healthcare benefits for all full-time employees and dependents.
