About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Controller to oversee all accounting operational functions. This role involves supporting financial reporting, technical accounting, systems implementations, internal controls, and managing external auditors. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the month-end close and consolidation processes, and reviewing financial statements for both internal and external purposes. Additionally, the VP, Controller will be tasked with implementing and monitoring internal controls, improving close and reporting cycles, and collaborating with the financial reporting team.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, a CPA certification, and a minimum of 15 years of diverse accounting experience, with a preference for those with multinational and Big 4 public accounting backgrounds. Strong knowledge of FASB interpretations, U.S. GAAP, and IFRS rules is essential, as is experience with SOX 404 rules and their application. The role requires a proven self-starter with strong decision-making skills, the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, and significant experience in managing major projects. Excellent communication, people management, and development skills are also necessary. Proficiency in Excel is a must, and experience with SAP is preferred.
