Bar Louie The Office is Hiring a Vice President Finance Near Addison, TX

A new position, this is a unique opportunity for a highly self-motivated executive with excellent people leadership skills and finance acumen to learn from and partner with the CFO during this period of strategic growth. As a key member of the CFO’s leadership team, the VP of Finance will support the CFO on setting and driving organizational vision as well as financial and business strategy. The successful candidate will be involved in both high-level discussions with executing business strategy and operational efficiency while leading/managing the implementation for achieving financial and accounting excellence. 

The expectation with creating this new position is that the VP of Finance will bring:

  • Proven track record for preparing analyses, financial forecasts, and reporting and providing day-to-day financial leadership and management to help drive key decision-making across the organization.
  • Suite of experience/skills to further elevate the team’s current capabilities.
  • Contribute to continued growth of Company’s investor confidence and reputation with customers and employees. Viewed as a trusted partner with the CFO for all financial reporting and key metrics.

Responsibilities include:

· Work with the CFO and leadership team, set comprehensive goals for financial performance and growth in line with the Company culture and vision. Stay current with market and financial trends.

· Provide ongoing and meaningful communications to both internal and external stakeholders.

· Drive and build sophisticated, scalable, and airtight budgeting, forecasting, and reporting frameworks and processes.

· Lead long-term planning, from building out processes, and workstreams for collaboration with cross-functional team members to include all key levers and focus areas.

· Contribute to corporate strategy initiatives, evaluating risk and opportunity, along with any fundraising, capital markets, and M&A activity.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses 10 years of finance and management experience across multi-industries and disciplines. S/he is comfortable leveraging both strategic and analytical skills and can effectively lead/communicate with internal and external audiences. Enjoys taking on complex initiatives and deploying effective project management and planning skills while empowering productive and positive relationships/teams that share insight and learnings with each other and across the functions. An entrepreneur by heart and/or practice, shows up as an owner with a keen focus on customers, able to adapt to change, and has a bias for action and accountability.

Other requirements include:

· 5 years in a financial management position with broad responsibility overseeing multiple finance and accounting functions.

· 5 years in consumer products or services environment with strong understanding of key enterprise functions and customer focus.

· Strong financial and accounting background, including a deep understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting.

· Ability to present financial information and develop impactful relationships across a wide audience including senior leadership team, Board of Director, lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.

· Self-starter with a proven track record of identifying opportunities or issues requiring correction and the ability to develop and execute a plan to address such.

· Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate.

· A champion for recruitment, development, and advancement of an inclusive organization. Possesses a high level of personal integrity, is passionate, and understands the personal and business value of treating others with honesty and respect. 

Education

BA/BS in business administration, accounting, or finance is required. MBA or similar is preferred. CPA is highly desirable.

Location

Work remotely with some domestic travel.
