WHAT WE’LL NEED

The VP, Talent Effectiveness and Mobility will play an integral role in supporting the people needs of the organization as it continues to grow as a global brand. This individual will be responsible for supporting HR, Organizational Effectiveness, and international team’s functions.

  • Manage Wingstop’s Organizational Effectiveness team, overseeing its development and evolution as the organization continues to expand its global footprint. 
  • Drive consistent employee experience on a global scale. 
  • Provide expertise in organizational design & planning, talent management, talent deployment, and succession planning that facilitates the attraction and retention of top talent.
  • Oversee all aspects of international HR operations and global mobility programs. Ensuring efficient and effective processes are in place that meet compliance, legal requirements, and company standards. 
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to Wingstop team members and leaders regarding nuances of international employment laws, immigration regulations, and global HR practices.
  • Create and implement HR procedures and policies that provide consistent people experience across all Wingstop international territories. 
  • Identify best-in-class vendors for International HR support that align with Wingstop’s people practices, drive Wingstop’s global mindset, and allow for expedited market expansion. 
  • Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with local labor laws and regulations, including employment contracts, compensation, benefits, and termination procedures. 
  • Proactively mitigate legal and compliance risks associated with international operations. 
  • Collaborate with international leadership teams, providing HR expertise and support based on the locality of their teams.
  • Provide HR specific guidance in setting up new entities or expanding operations in multiple countries. 
  • Identify and coordinate with external relocation agencies to ensure seamless relocation experience for team members. 
  • Manage and oversee the relocation process for employees transferring between countries, including visa applications, housing arrangements, and cultural integration support. 
  • Participate in budget planning and management for Organizational Effectiveness team, international HR operations, and global mobility programs.
  • Serve as point of contact for International HR operations escalations and global mobility issues and provide timely resolutions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Human Resources, International Business, or Industrial Organizational Psychology
  • 10 years of experience in HR 
  • 5 years of experience in international HR Management 
  • Strong project management and vendor management skills, with the ability to lead cross functional teams seamlessly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across cultures and geographies. 
  • In-depth knowledge of international employment laws, immigrations regulations, global HR practices, Visa requirements, international benefits, and tax implications.
