Job Title: Marketing & Social Media Manager 

Job Description:

As a key member of our growing team, you'll wear many hats and play a vital role in shaping BAMO's brand narrative and expanding our reach. This dynamic position requires someone who can seamlessly blend strategic thinking with creative flair, managing proposals, social media, presentations, and more.

What you can expect in a Marketing & Social Media Manager Role at BAMO:

Lead the Charge:

  • Work with the Marketing & Business Development Director to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing/PR plan, driving BAMO's brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Craft and execute strategic marketing campaigns that encompass engaging email sequences, targeted content initiatives, dynamic social media activations, and creative content development.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential client bases, conducting thorough research and collaborating with leadership to formulate winning client acquisition strategies.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing & Business Development Director and Controller to maintain the marketing budget.

Marketing Mastery:

  • Curate and enhance BAMO's marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and visual appeal.
  • Manage and create captivating content for BAMO's social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook), leveraging storytelling skills and design prowess.
  • Coordinate BAMO's responses to RFPs, showcasing our expertise, qualifications, and competitive edge through compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Manage the firm's photography library, ensuring proper organization, tagging, and accessibility.
  • Coordinate the photography of new projects, liaising with photographers, managing budgets, and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Oversee the maintenance of detailed marketing contact records, prospect lists, and marketing collateral, enabling effective relationship building with past and potential clients.

Expanding Our Reach:

  • Work with the Marketing & Business Development Director to execute strategies for enhancing BAMO's presence in the marketplace, including collaborating with an external PR consultant on photography and publication opportunities.
  • Actively participate in and encourage social engagements with BAMO's Principals and target audiences, fostering meaningful connections.
  • Champion and amplify marketing efforts among BAMO's Associates and staff, fostering a culture of collective contribution and brand advocacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or communications, with a focus on B2B and/or professional services, preferably in the interior design or A/E/C industry
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a knack for crafting engaging and persuasive content.
  • Passion for social media and a keen eye for creating visually appealing content.
  • Familiarity with the interior design industry and knowledge of current trends.
  • Proficiency with graphic design software, specifically Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, graphic and video editing, and related platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva).
  • Proficiency in email marketing software (iContact, Constant Contact, Pardot, Active Campaign, Mailchimp (or similar).
  • Experience responding to RFPs and developing proposals and qualifications packages.
  • Experience with a digital asset manager (DAM), a plus 
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software, a plus
  • A strong sense of self-motivation and follow-through in a complex business environment.
  • Strong communications and people skills, fostering collaboration and buy-in across teams.
  • A mature approach to managing priorities, efficiently juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience working with and motivating a business development/marketing team.
  • A sense of the importance of style and quality to the firm's goals, maintaining a high standard for all marketing materials.
  • Knowledge of data-based marketing tools/applications to measure campaign performance and track ROI.’
