Bailey Equipment and Intralogistics is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Nashville, TN
Description
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in the finance, accounting, and sales administrative operations of the Bailey Company. Strong analytical and project management skills are required. The position reports to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis: Analyzes financials across all departments (sales, service, parts, rental) to drive decision-making, sales, and key operations.
- Processes: Analyzes and improves sales, administrative, and accounting processes.
- Systems & Reporting: Drives reporting efforts and the overall development of reporting tools within Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power BI, ERP, and other platforms.
- Sales Reporting: Analyses and calculates sales commissions and drives sales reporting around key accounts, margins, rental, etc.
- Credit: Analyzes credit limits and A/R and assists staff and team efforts.
- Administration: Coordinates and manages assigned administrative duties for sales, treasury, accounting, and finance functions.
- Collaborates with and assists the accounting, finance, and sales operations teams as needed.
- Assists in completion of periodic reviews and audits
- Participates in the Bailey Company’s safety, training, and environmental sustainability programs.
- Handles other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
The individual plays a key role in the finance and administrative operations of the company. The individual in this position should be personable, a problem solver, reliable, ethical, intelligent, and able to adapt to the forces around him/her—customers, suppliers, co-workers, managers, and vendors.
Education/Training/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (required), accounting or business administration preferred
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- 3 years experience in finance, project management, process management, or sales operations
- 1 year of IT experience and/or SQL (preferred)
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to handle conflict
- Willingness to adapt, learn, and take direction
- Ability to maintain a positive presence in the workplace
- Good, safe work habits
License(s) or Certification(s) Required:
- PMP, CPA, IT certification (preferred)
