Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee and is the U.S. subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation headquartered in Japan. Bridgestone Americas and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries.
Supports the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for non-manufacturing activity in the U.S.
Leads finance support for the Marketing function in controller activities, including spending control (e.g. OpEx, CapEx) and month-end close activities
Serves as primary contact in the U.S. for sales rebates and commissions, including responsibility for first level approvals, reconciliations, and process improvements
Supports the global forecast and budget process through consolidation of IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and other inputs
Supports global OpEx reporting, including analysis by account, cost center, and country to ensure controllable expenses are maintained within budget
Supports purchasing activities as primary finance contact for non-plant teammates to process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (POs)
Supports and/or leads cross-functional projects on an ad hoc basis
