Job Description
The Compensation Analyst III is an exciting position that conducts data analysis and assists in the administration of the organization's compensation programs. By participating in salary surveys and using survey data to evaluate internal positions for market competitiveness, recommending grade assignments and exemption status, and managing the job descriptions and data warehousing process, the analyst is an integral part of the compensation team. This is a hybrid position, requiring candidates to live in the Nashville, TN area.

Responsibilities
These are your responsibilities :
  • Serves as Workforce Optimization lead and subject matter expert on cross functional teams; reports pertinent updates back to team and gets guidance and feedback as needed
  • Performs data analysis and draws conclusions to support ongoing initiatives
  • Prepares, calculates, and administers and leads in review of monthly/quarterly/annual incentive plans
  • Prepares independent analysis and recommendation of compensation structure changes, productivity evaluations and incentive programs .
  • Leads review of third party salary surveys and analyzes results to determine organization's market competitiveness Identify trends as well as areas of concern for market competitiveness.
  • Prepares workforce planning and clinical efficiency reporting by developing and distributing reports.
  • Creates data mining and modeling tools to automate analyses and reports.
  • Maintain databases to support data governance and report automation.
  • Collaborate with Operations and COES to facilitate and understand current compensation policy and practices.
  • Prepare other reports and completes other projects as needed.
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned compensation processes.
  • Provide customer service support to internal and external customers (i.e., contact for leaders and other COEs on compensation analysis and questions).
  • Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's compensation practices.
  • Identify opportunities and implement process improvements.
  • Reads and abides by the company's code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs.
  • Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment, or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company.
  • Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so.
  • Support and abide by the values of the company.
Qualifications

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately, both written and orall y
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of theories, fundamentals, and principles of total reward practices
  • Highly proficient mathematical skills
  • Intermediate in Excel, Word, PPT and Outlook
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI or other data insight tools to automate analyses and reports
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work well within a fast-paced environment
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or University
  • 7 to 10 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
