Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions. Duties:
- Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate new hire onboarding process, including conducting orientation sessions and assisting with paperwork completion
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with data entry
- Support HR team in administering employee benefits programs
- Assist with data collection for HR metrics and reporting purposes
- Ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in human resources or related administrative role
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures
- Familiarity with talent acquisition processes and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP or Kronos
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
