Axway is seeking a strong leader in Sales Operations to join the company’s Global Customer Success Organization in Scottsdale, AZ to serve as the single point of accountability for the successful planning and execution of Sales Operations within the North America region. The role will report to the General Manager of North America with direct, dedicated support to the SVP of Sales and his Sales Management team. This is a highly visible position that directly aligns to Axway’s strategy and the attainment of revenue growth objectives. Further, as a key influencer to the company’s transformation, this position will have the freedom to apply expertise in a manner that directly supports our leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Advise, support and collaborate with North America Sales leadership to support attainment of sales performance objectives and bookings growth.
  • Works as an advisor in developing, modifying and executing Axway policies that affect immediate and company-wide operations.
  • As part of a broader Customer Success Organization operations team, proactively collaborates and contributes to global cross-functional initiatives in support of Axway’s strategy within budget.
  • Performs business-level analysis of regional sales performance to inform Sales Management.
  • Supports the annual business planning process to establish sales compensation criteria, quotas, and territory assignments.
  • Develop and execute sales enablement plans, including training and communication that drives adoption of sales process, systems and tools.
  • Makes recommendations to sales and executive leadership on approaches to increase sales performance, inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
  • Aid in the creation of a world class Sales Operation function including but not limited to a proactive deal desk, providing sales leaders with insight used to run their business, a functional and used sales and forecasting process
  • Proactively identify and recommend operational improvements, enhancements and system customizations that meet business needs - ensuring solutions are highly usable, scalable and maintainable on SFDC and related tools.
  • Works independently, uses personal initiative and independent judgment to handle sensitive, complex and confidential information in a professional and mature manner.
  • Collaborate with all GTM functions to ensure alignment in achieving regional objectives.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Proven success over 10 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations for an Enterprise Software company.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive global, cross-functional efficiency and transparency across the majority of Sales Operations competencies.
  • Previous experience in sales compensation planning with ability to understand, communicate and manage Sales Compensation plans and policies.
  • Previous management experience of at least 3 direct resources in a fast-paced, periodically stressful environment.
  • Advanced experience working with Salesforce.com CRM, with emphasis on Opportunity Management, Account Management, CPQ and Sales Performance Management tools. Administrator-level proficiency a plus.
  • Solid understanding of Sales performance reporting requirements and forecasting.
  • Working knowledge of business concepts related to sales, marketing, information systems.
  • Must be adaptable to a wide variety of changing analytical situations, shifting work priorities, and deliverables across global enterprise.
  • Minimum of a BS degree in Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, Business is required.
  • Previous experience in a quota carrying Enterprise Sales role is preferred
