Axalta is Hiring a Sales assistant Near Charlotte, NC

Description

Sales Assistant

This sales assistant position is to be the event coordinator that will provide primary planning duties for all meetings and events held throughout the North America Training Centers.

The applicant will also assist the training instructors as needed. The applicant will maintain relationships with all outside vendors for the Customer Experience Center.

This individual must be comfortable being the point person between the Axalta sales team, both existing and target customers as well as Axalta instructors to facilitate sales activities such as Demonstrations / WOW sessions, internal and external meetings, and various facility use inquiries.

The applicant must be able to juggle multiple overlapping events, which will occur simultaneously, each having various requirements.

The ability to think on your feet and handle any issues that arise quickly and discretely during an event is key. The successful candidate will be an expert at confidentially dealing with individuals at all levels of the organization to deliver an excellent Customer Experience for all visitors and customers on site.

This individual must have a flexible schedule and be able to work before and after traditional work hours.

Additional responsibilities include :

  • Maintain responsibility for facility needs
  • Coordinate various complex events with both internal and external customers
  • Source and work with outside vendors to coordinate hotel rooms and any off-site activities
  • Manage and maintain calendar for all site activities
  • Maintain all audiovisual equipment
  • Developing event feedback surveys
  • Create and manage all Purchase Orders for site
  • Process all site invoices
  • Manage upkeep / replacement of lobby displays
  • Manage training class schedule and attendees
  • Maintain high level of readiness for guests on site at all times
  • Communicate with sales team on target visitors
  • Assist in managing yearly site budget

Qualifications

  • Prior experience directly supporting high-level manager(s) and / or executive(s)
  • Experience with high-level meeting / event planning
  • 2-year / Associates degree preferred

Additional Skills / Abilities Required

  • Strong bias for action and keen sense of urgency
  • Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Flexible and adaptable to demanding and fast-paced work environment
