ResortManager
The person in thisposition reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for establishingand managing the resort’s daily operations. The role especially involvescoordinating the activities of Guest Services, Engineering, Sales, Food andBeverage and Housekeeping departments. Works with department heads to ensure that all guest needs and concernsare properly addressed. Participate in business planning and review activitiesto ensure the financial wellbeing of the property. Checking audit reports andresearching discrepancies will be part of the daily duties.
Jobresponsibilities:
·Responsiblefor the smooth operation and coordination between the Department Managers andits staff
·Walkproperty daily to ensure it is well maintained and no safety concerns. Monitor staff to ensure they are followinguniform policies as well as staying engaged with our guests
·Workwith GSM to ensure the proper functioning of the FD and the wellbeing of itsstaff
·Resolveguest services discrepancies; financial, reservations, etc.
·Ensurethat unscheduled cash drawer audits are performed
·Reviewwith QC any guest issues and refunds to ensure the FD is handling appropriately
·Providecoaching and leadership skills to department heads and line staff
·Providesupport to all departments by reviewing schedules and trainings
·Ensuredepartment inventories are completed and review results with the GM forordering
·Bridgethe communication between departments
·Createa sense of belonging for team members
·Followand implement the company culture
·Supporthiring work flows among all departments
·Ensureadherence to hotel policy from employees as well as guests
·Schedule/hoststaff meetings
·Workwith guests to resolve problems by suggesting and applying mutually agreeablesolutions
·Workwith all departments to ensure guests request are met in a timely andproficient manner
Requirements:
·Provenexperience in Resort Management or in a similar role required
·Strongorganizational and communalization skills
·Knowledgeof industry regulations, best practices and trends
·Leadershipabilities in order to motivate/manage a diverse team of leaders and staff.
·Proficientin Excel
·Available to work a flexibleschedule including weekends and holidays
·Workingknowledge of financials and accounting
·Proficiencywith computers and general office PC applications (email, POS system, etc.)
·ValidDriver’s License
