Director of Engineering -

Job description – The Director on Engineering will lead the departmentin all maintenance and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will haveknowledge and experience maintaining aspects of a hotel such as; electrical,plumbing, wall repair, pools, and HVAC units.

Job responsibilities -

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
• Inspect hotel regularly to ensure safety standards are met
• Works directly with HOA
• Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies, and facilities
• Complete work orders on time and within budget
• Maintain budgets, expenses, and activity logs
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Responds and coordinates responses to guest calls and emergency situations
• Perform various maintenance repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall/ wallpaper, painting, building exteriors, and appliances
• Lead maintenance department in order to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Interviews, trains, supervises,counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.

Requirements -

·Available to worka flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Previousmanagerial experience in a similar position

Knowledgeof plumbing, electrical, sewer, wall repair, appliances, and HVAC systems

Highschool diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA inFacility Management is preferred

CertifiedProfessional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) is a plus

ValidSC Driver’s License
