Maintenance Supervisor - Prince Resort

Job description -

The maintenance supervisorwill lead the engineering team in maintainingthe cosmetic appearance and the mechanical function of the resort buildings andgrounds in both the interior and exterior of the property.The ideal candidate will haveexperience and knowledge in a wide range of hotel upkeeping. The supervisor willwork alongside the dispatcher to ensure that work orders have been assignedaccordingly.

Job Responsibilities -

• Follow allcompany safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenanceproblems/safety hazards
• Verify and document the completion of allroutine maintenance and repairs
• Prioritize work orders; plan, schedule, andcoordinate maintenance technicians
• Perform variousmaintenance repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall/ wallpaper,painting, building exteriors, and appliances
• Collaborate with off-site Vendors, andHomeowners' department
• Performsmaintenance and repairs with a minimum of guest disturbance
• Replacement of light fixtures, fixing drywall/ wallpaper, painting
• Repairing of broken or leaking plumbing to avoidwater damage and restore full use of water fixtures; other light plumbing workas needed
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when ashortage or severed wire occurs, along with other light electrical work
• Appliance, furniture, and fixture repairs asneeded
• Completesall work orders in a timely and detailed manner per company program standards
• Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance

Requirements-

• Available to worka flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Must have experience in a related field
• Certificates from college/technical school are aplus
• Ability to read and interpret documents such assafety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
