Austin Compounding Pharmacy LLC is Hiring a Customer Service Technician Near Austin, TX
Role Summary
The Customer Service Technician will be required to successfully perform general office work, cashiering, shipping (when needed), inventory and stock maintenance, creating store displays, and customer service. Organizational ability, general accounting proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills are required.
Job Activities and Responsibilities: The responsibilities listed below are subject to change.
- Answering the phone
- Performing payment transactions
- Receiving and processing all cash and credit card payments from customers
- Bagging merchandise
- Providing customer assistance at checkout stands
- Maintaining a clean and organized customer service area
- Creating, building, and stocking merchandise displays
- Providing customer assistance throughout the store
- Responsible for opening & closing the store as assignment by store manager
- Accepting, processing, pricing, and putting away orders
- Processing Us Mail and UPS Shipments
- Notifying manager of “out of stocks”
- Placing will call prescriptions in proper bins
- Calling patients when prescriptions/orders are ready for pick up
- Monitor will call area and perform follow up calls for all merchandise not picked up within 2 weeks (note on slip original call, call at 5 days, call at 10 days, and then return to stock at 2 weeks)
- Mailing Insurance claim forms weekly
- Collect patient emails and provide to marketing coordinator
- Note date/time/and your initials on everything
- Six months in a customer service or cashier position preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with processing credit card transactions
- Familiarity with windows and Office programs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to use a computer keyboard, fax machine, printer, communicate clearly by telephone.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
