Description:
ROLE SUMMARY
The accounts payable specialist will play an integral role in Finance, assist with month end and annual processes, and ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and appropriate follow-ups with vendors and internal departments.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain precise records of all vendor payments
• Monitor tax liabilities and ensure tax liabilities are paid on time
• Responsible for paying and keeping record of all invoices
• Code, enter and upload invoices
• Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy
• Work closely with Operations and Procurement on purchase orders and open invoices
• Research vendor invoices and purchase orders
• Able to work in Prism and JDE systems
• Collaborate with other departments to perform accounting audits
• Prepare and enter monthly accruals
• Maintain vendor files
• Prepare vendor backup and check runs
• Research and resolve credits, discrepancies, and open issues
• Perform other duties as requested

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Associates’ degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field is ideal
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Experience with JDE and Concur advantageous
• Detail-oriented and organized, high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and ownership of tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• Strong written and verbal Communication skills
• Self-motivated, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and without supervision\
Must be Vaccinated for COVID-19
