Essential Functions:
As a Business Development Representative, you'll start learning our business from day one while based out of one of our local offices. You will be entrusted to serve as the face of AssuredPartners while giving advice, guidance, and insurance solutions to potential and existing customers. In our structured program, you will master the knowledge and skills you need to build up your own book of business through hitting monthly and annual new business targets, implementing marketing and sales strategies, and prospecting (networking) with potential clients.
In our hands-on learning environment, you will receive guidance, mentoring, and support needed to be successful. You will also get out into the community and establish the relationships essential to building your own business.
We'll teach you how to develop leads, target accounts, solicit referrals, manage sales tools including CRM usage, and to deliver solutions consultatively to close new business. And you'll learn what it means to be a part of a winning company that puts its customers and their needs first.
Travel:
To be successful in this role, working in the local office is critical and the ability to travel to meet with clients in person throughout the day is paramount. There should be little overnight travel except for an annual training conference in Pennsylvania.
