Job Summary: Hudspeth is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist. This position will be based in Centennial, CO. This position reports directly to the General Manager, Hudspeth for ongoing business priorities with dotted-line into SVP People, ASRC Industrial, for functional alignment and support.

This position delivers required human resources programs and solutions in support of both short-term and long-term business goals that are established by the Hudspeth annual operating plan. Collaborates effectively with Hudspeth Senior Leadership Team and other departments to ensure optimal employee experience, process and administrative excellence, and advancement of Culture of CARE initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and demonstrates a working knowledge of the business in order to respond to questions and needs from employees and peers.
• Administers functional requirements and completes timely process documentation such as onboarding, recruiting, status changes, terminations, etc.
• Maintains HR-related processes, policies, procedures, and initiatives as required.
• Ensures all employee records are updated in the system of record to ensure timeliness and accuracy of other processes, such as payroll.
• Performs periodic audits of files and other data sources to ensure integrity and compliance.
• Provides required data for reports as requested, such as EEO and AAP data.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management such as coaching and documenting disciplinary actions.
• Leads talent acquisition activities as directed and/or as informed by the operating plan and/or jobs that are won throughout the year for which headcount addition is required.
• Works closely with other leaders to embed and advance Culture of CARE characterized by improved work relationships, increased morale, and better retention.
• Creates presentations, org charts, and reports as requested.
• Assists with employee communications as required.
• Participates as an active member of the ASRC Industrial HR community.

Preferred Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Two or four year degree with a major in Human Resources, Business or similar field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of human resources generalist/HRBP experience
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
• Experience in Union and Labor Relations
• Experience supporting Industrial, Construction or Environmental workforce.
• Outstanding verbal, written, presentation and listening communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, including the ability to meet demanding, evolving, and often competing deadlines.
• Knowledge of various state and federal employment laws.
