ASBeauty is seeking an analytical, results-oriented Business Analytics Manager to provide and enable insights across our organization, focusing on customer, channel, and promotional reporting and analytics.

In this role, you will work on building and interpreting dashboards, asking and answering ad-hoc performance questions, and helping to optimize the ways that we message and promote to our customers.

This role will partner on analytics across all departments; You will be leveraging multiple tools and datasets to help guide our thinking; You will be comfortable digging into data, working independently, collaborating with stakeholders, and presenting your findings. This is a highly valued and visible role on a small analytics team.

The right candidate will be curious and data-driven. Strong experience with a BI tool (we use Tableau), the ability to write SQL on our BigQuery environment, and some familiarity with channel and customer data is required.

An ideal candidate should exhibit a high level of proficiency when speaking to measurement, and have the ability to articulate data and insights to cross-functional stakeholders. This individual will be able to balance their subject matter expertise with strong communication skills when providing analytics and testing support for partner teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities, and present actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes
• Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports to provide behaviors and trends, across channels, campaigns, customer segments, and promotions.
• Leverage our SQL environment to ask and answer ad-hoc questions
• Build out monthly and quarterly performance decks
• Build and maintain repositories of results and KPIs across site performance, channels, and campaigns
• Partner on creating models to predict and track performance
• Ideate about ways to improve on our methods around data collection and interpretation
• Help build test & learn strategies, especially around email & SMS channels

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify crucial business requests and develop best approaches to tackling these questions with data
• Leverage existing tools to provide resorts and insights. 
• Present findings in small team settings.
• Work with all teams to ensure a cohesive and data-driven approach to our strategies.
• Partner with Growth Team to optimize spending

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science)

· 5 years experience in an analytics role

· Extensive experience with building BI reporting, using Tableau or a similar tool

· Extensive experience with leveraging SQL to understand data trends

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Experience building test & learn scenarios

· Statistical modeling experience is a plus

· Data modeling (DBT) experience is a plus
