JOB SUMMARY 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our IT department, you will lead and manage multiple technology projects primarily in the infrastructure domain, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with our business goals. 

The selected candidate must be able to drive projects independently, escalate when necessary, and demonstrate effective time and resource management. Communication with project stakeholders and senior leadership, both written and verbal, is crucial to the success of this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Work with project stakeholders to define and establish project objectives, scope, roadmap, milestones, and deliverables as applicable and aligned to delivery strategy.
  • Produce well-defined technical project plans that outline key project activities, their sequence and delivery timelines. Develop budgets for initiatives as needed. 
  • Drive and execute projects in detail according to the project plan, ensuring all milestones are met within scope, on time, and within budget.

Mergers and Acquisitions Expertise:

  • Utilize advanced experience in mergers and acquisitions to lead IT integration efforts during and after business acquisitions.
  • Assess existing IT infrastructures, identify synergies, and develop integration plans to align with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as a liaison as necessary between IT, ADG Divisions and 3rd party vendors to ensure successful implementation. Plan communication and engaging change management resources as necessary.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Risk Management:

  • Manage risk by collaborating, identifying and tracking all dependencies and risks (technical and non-technical) and exploring mitigation strategies aligned to delivery plan. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and ensure project success.

Resource Management:

  • Manage project resources, including dedicated and matrixed project teams, external vendors, and contractors.

· Ensure effective utilization of resources to meet project goals and deadlines.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Budget Oversight:

  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or timelines.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, configurations, and user manuals. Develop other documents, including project charters and other project documents, as required by the ADG IT PMO.
  • Generate regular project status reports for leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future milestones.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Management of a matrixed project team 

Requirements

 EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on infrastructure.
  • Proven expertise in managing IT projects related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including servers, networks, security, and cloud computing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in IT project management.
