Description 

Arizona Home Care and Infusion is looking for a positive, proactive Clinical Manager to join our team. They will be responsible for overseeing all clinical functions and ensure that we administer the highest standard of patient care. ??

The ideal applicant will be a natural leader, who has more than three years of home care and infusion experience and at least one year of supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities include 

1. Achieve positive patient outcomes through a proactive, team-focused approach. 

• Creates a positive, proactive working environment. 
• Interview, hires, orients, counsels, and evaluates clinical staff in accordance with established polices and procedures. 
• Provides honest, timely response to positive and negative information and handles identified problems within 24 hours in accordance with organization's procedures. 
• Surveys customers (internal and external) regularly to identify strengths and weaknesses. 
• Leads contractual relationships and ensures quality services. 

2. Supervises all clinical functions and ensure a high standard of patient care. 

• Functions as a resource person to the patient care team-identifying educational/clinical learning opportunities. 
•  Serves as a clinical resource person for patient care issues. 
• Assists staff growth and development with respect to problem identification and proactive problem-solving. 
• Monitors staff's documentation to promote compliance with all regulatory/accrediting requirements.

3. Track all budgetary considerations. 

• Works within budgetary guidelines providing services in the most cost-efficient manner. 
• Manages labor costs in accordance with budget. 
• Monitors Bi-weekly productivity and service utilization for those supervised, keeping productivity within defined agency standards.

4. Handle day-to-day administrative and operational needs. 

• Review evening and weekend schedules. 
• Review triage report from the 5pm-8am shift and follow up to make sure they are staffed appropriately. 
• Case conference with your case manager regarding their patients and following up as needed.? 
•  Rotate admin on call per schedule. 
• Handle all correspondence within 24 hours, sooner if urgent. 
• Coordinate all patient and staff phone calls and triaging appropriately. 
• Assist staffing with issues. 
• Work with other supervisory staff to ensure availability of Supervisor by 8am M-F. 

Requirements 

Education Requirements 

The applicant must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Arizona nursing license as a Registered Nurse. They should have: 

• Bachelor’s degree from an NLN-approved institution. 
• Current CPR Certification, driver’s license and vehicle insurance proof. 
• Current background check clearance card (Level 1 Fingerprint Card) meeting Arizona state regulations. 

Experience Requirements 

• Minimum of 2 years in home health care
• Minimum of 2 years of direct infusion experience
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. 

Requirements
