Job Summary :

• Guide, suppor and moni or Local Educa ional Agencies (LEAs) in he implemen a ion of he Language Developmen Approach (LDA) and S ruc ured English Immersion (SEI) Models o ensure program compliance wi h bo h s a e and federal manda es
• Develop and implemen professional developmen for effec ive ins ruc ion of English Learners (ELs)
• Suppor LEAs in building and main aining effec ive EL programs
• Local, in-s a e, and some ou -of-s a e ravel is required for his posi ion

Job Du ies :

Provide professional developmen o include a focus on Arizona's SEI Models and English Language Proficiency (ELP) S andards.

• Prepare program-specific echnical and adminis ra ive repor s.
• Provide appropria e feedback and ongoing echnical assis ance o LEAs.

• Suppor LEAs in implemen ing s a e and federal au horizing legisla ion, all program guidance and regula ions.
• Serve on ask forces, commi ees and special assignmen s, as reques ed.
• Work wi h o her divisions wi hin ADE, helping o coordina e heir ac ivi ies wi h hose of he as well as applicable s a e plans.
