General Responsibilities:

A Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain or input financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by others.

Specific Job Duties:

• Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers
• Maintains accurate records and control reports
• Review applicable accounting reports and accounts payable register to ensure accuracy
• Clear understanding of reviewing and maintaining bank reports and credit card accounts
• Familiar with bank notes, processing invoices and posting payment
• Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures
• Familiar with general ledger accounts and coding for proper branch and departments
• Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
• Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts
• Code documents according to company procedures
• Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence

Requirements:

• Two years’ experience
