TECHNOLOGY RESOURCE CENTER MANAGER
The Technology Resource Center Manager reports to the Assistant Principal for Instruction & Learning Technologies.
The teaching responsibilities fall under the division of Applied Sciences.
The Technology Resource Center Manager manages the Technology Resource Center:
Troubleshoots hardware and software problems on student and teacher computers;
Maintains a log of work performed on Tablet PCs;
Updates/replaces equipment, software, and operating systems as needed;
Manages student loaner computers;
Performs preventative maintenance as well as more general repair and replacement maintenance;
Maintains an inventory of computer spare parts for the Technology Resource Center;
Maintains an inventory of computer hardware and software;
Assist faculty and staff in dealing with technical issues in order to maintain a positive culture among educators about use of technologies.
The Technology Resource Center Manager hours are from 7:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Technology Resource Center Manager schedules incoming 9th graders and transfer students for orientation to the Tablet PCs.
The Technology Resource Center Manager assists with the collection of student computers at the end of the academic year; and assists with the distribution of student Tablet PCs at the beginning of the year.
During the summer months, the Technology Resource Center Manager reimages the Tablet PCs along with performing hardware repairs; and supervises student -interns that help with summer work.
The Technology Resource Center Manager reports to the Assistant Principal for Instruction & Learning Technologies. The Academic Dean for Applied Sciences supervises teaching responsibilities.
This position is a 12 month contract with the dates to be determined. This position allows for 15 vacation days that must be submitted for approval by the Principal or Assistant Principal.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal or Associate Principal for Curriculum & Learning Technologies.
