Arcfield is seeking a Mid to Senior level Systems Engineer to support our US Navy customer, Strategic Systems Programs (Navy SSP), in Washington, DC.
In this position you will support the nation’s most reliable deterrent, while assisting the engineering team in the areas of production and design/development. Arcfield has held this contract for over sixty-five years and closely teams with the Navy to accomplish the mission.
This position works daily from the Arcfield at the Maritime Plaza Office in Washington DC (across the street from the Washington Navy Yard). It is within sight of the Nation’s Capital and has access to public transportation. Up to 25% travel can be expected.
What you will do:
Support Arcfield’s W93/Mk7 program team in providing administrative support to Navy,
Strategic Systems Programs (SP28) in weapons development.
Collaborate with Navy SSP, NNSA, and external stakeholders in support of W93/Mk7 working groups.
Coordinate meetings and agendas development, generate meeting summaries, develop and track action items.
Assist with developing presentations and technical papers, analyze schedules in support of program performance/execution.
Serve as independent evaluator on design development, integration, qualification, and production reviews
Analyze and trace requirements; assess design and production efforts
Perform duties to support Arcfield Maritime Plaza office operations.
