Summary
Apptrix, a technology company specializing in the hosting and support of Infor products, is seeking an experienced and multi-talented individual with a deep understanding of infrastructure, networking, and security, both on-prem and in the cloud, to join our team as the Infrastructure Manager.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Successful track record in managing complex Infrastructure Projects
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems, participate in on-call rotation, and be available for monthly maintenance windows
- Oversee the execution and deployment of infrastructure projects
- Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members
- Explore new technologies to see how they can be leveraged into our environment
- Script repetitive tasks and implement procedures to maintain consistent processes
- Oversight of team members and vendors to ensure optimal uptime of the Apptrix hosting infrastructure
- Speak with vendors and team members about any aspect of our infrastructure including networking, storage, security, etc.
Skills and Qualifications
- BS degree in technology field or equivalent experience
- 2 years in a Management or Team Lead role
- Strong experience working with VMware (esxi, vCenter, Aria suite, NSX)
- Strong experience working with Azure
- Strong experience with networks, VPN tunnels, BGP, routers, switches
- Strong experience with firewalls, preferably Palo Alto
- Strong experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory
- Experience working with Linux
- Advanced scripting experience in PowerShell and/or Python
- Ability to organize and plan work independently or as a team
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components and technologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies
- Ability to constantly learn and master new technologies
