We are hiring a full-time Outside Sales Representative in Midland, TX-Basin Engine & Pump

FCX Performance/Basin Engine & Pump is an Applied Industrial Technologies Companyand a leading process-flow control company providing technical, mission-critical products and services to more than 15,000 end users, OEMs, and EPC firms across a broad range of industries and markets.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you'll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their engine and pump needs; you will be a problem-solver, trusted advisor, and technical expert in the application of our products.

What you'll do:

  • Establish and expand relationships with customers using multiple techniques including regular sales calls, cold-calling, industry networking, customer recommendations, etc. to drive aggressive closure of all available opportunities
  • Conduct sales and service activities, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services
  • Strategic, adaptable and intuitive in your approach to manage your sales territory
  • Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting

We seek:

  • Outside sales any of the industrial, municipal, institutional, OEM, chemical arenas is a benefit
  • Proven success in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
  • Strong technical/mechanical background
  • Pumps, pump solutions and or fabrication/flow control knowledge preferred
  • Confident & results-oriented with a strong desire to close sales
  • Computer proficiency including MS office, SAP/ERP/P-21 a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
