As the Director of Product Management focused on machine learning, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the development of products that power the biggest and most complex AI applications. You will lead a talented team of product managers, engineers, and data scientists to deliver innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of AI and real-world applications, transforming industries and driving impact.
We're looking for a seasoned PM leader and operational expert who can chart a path to make Anyscale the go-to platform for delivering the fastest, most cost-efficient modern AI/ML infrastructure. This PM leader will ensure that Developers and ML practitioners have the tools they need to do their work without having to deal with infrastructure or being "locked out" of the latest advances in the space. This PM leader will ensure infrastructure teams have the capabilities they need to modernize and future-proof their ML platforms and avoid being "locked in" to a single, inflexible environment.
Responsibilities:
    • Define and execute the product vision and strategy for our machine learning products, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives
    • Lead a team of product managers, guiding them in the development of product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and delivery timelines
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, design, and marketing, to ensure successful product development and launch
    • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback analysis to identify market trends and customer needs
    • Work closely with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and validate product concepts
    • Drive the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management
    • Monitor product performance, analyze user metrics, and iterate on product features to optimize user experience and drive customer satisfaction
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning within the product management team and across the organization
Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
    • MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus
    • Proven 5 years experience as a Product Manager in a technology-driven company, with a focus on machine learning or AI products
    • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and applications
    • Track record of successfully delivering complex software products or platforms from concept to launch
    • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
Compensation
    • At Anyscale, we take a market-based approach to compensation. We are data-driven, transparent, and consistent. The target salary for this role is $287,397-$305,214. As the market data changes over time, the target salary for this role may be adjusted.
