AVP, Business Development, Reporting to Head of National Affinity Group.

National Affinity is a specialized unit that focuses on Affinity Partners, National Payroll Partners, and Embedded Insurance. The AVP position will be responsible for developing & maintaining national partnerships. You will work with national insurance carriers, payroll companies, retail agencies, wholesale brokers & program administrators that align with our appetite & capabilities. You will steward new partners through a multi-faceted due diligence process engaging with Underwriting, Digital API Integration, Embedded Insurance, Legal, Operations, & Compliance.

The role requires maintaining continuous understanding of our client's needs, challenges & concerns specific to their market niche. Leverage internal resources to maximize opportunities and improve client satisfaction. Lead/participate in key conferences & industry events that are critical to the visibility & growth of National Affinity Group. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust Insurance organization.

Must possess 10 years of relevant business development experience within the commercial insurance industry focused on affinity programs, national payroll partners and/or embedded insurance development and implementation. Familiarity with API partner integration preferred.

• Proven record of exceeding sales goals and developing relationships
• Bachelor's degree with focus in business, marketing or finance preferred
• Ability to travel as required
