The position reports to the Director of Program and Business Development.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE• Serve as coordinator of the proposal design and creation process.
• Develop, prepare, and review primary and supporting materials for proposals and donor solicitations.
• Assist in the final quality control review and approval of proposals and help ensure accuracy of narrative, budget feasibility, and timely submission of grant proposals.

• Support other development staff engaged in proposal development.
• Other relevant tasks, including administrative duties, as required.

• Experience in project costing and budget preparation.
• Familiarity with a variety of funders including the U.S. Department of State, USAID, the World Bank, foundations, private corporations, and others.
• Experience working in the education, international development, student exchange, and/or non-profit sectors.
• Understanding of federal and non-federal grant and contract types and grant regulations.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and writing) that allow for effective collaboration and detailed follow through with program personnel.
• Ability to work independently as needed to complete assigned tasks within strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated expertise with MS Office.
• Experience with graphics programs and tools preferred (such as InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro).

Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
