Legal Operations ManagerWere looking for a Legal Operations Manager to join Almas quickly scaling team. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, this role will work closely with all members of the legal team to support and drive operational excellence, enabling the legal team to operate more effectively and efficiently.The ideal candidate is not only excited about refining the legal operations function at a high-growth startup, but also feels strongly about building positive relationships across the business. The candidate must also be hands-on and comfortable and skilled at managing day-to-day workflows, providing strategic direction, and project and contract management.What youll do:Develop, implement, and oversee efficient legal operations, encompassing metrics reporting, dashboarding, contract lifecycle management, and workflow managementDesign, manage, and facilitate legal enablement tools for use by internal business stakeholders, including but not limited to, templates, legal playbooks, and FAQsDraft legal contracts, correspondence and other documentsManage the legal team budgeting processProject manage critical projects in collaboration and partnership with internal business stakeholdersPrepare, monitor, and track legal department objectives. Create metrics and trends on key data points aligned to the legal teams key objectives and strategic plan, as well as overall department effectiveness and efficiencyWho you are:You have 5-7 years of in-house experience in legal operations and contracts management.You have at least 1 year of hands-on knowledge of technology systems, including contract lifecycle management system implementation, technology training, and system maintenance.You have experience using Asana or similar project management tools to drive the efficiency of legal departments.You have strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on translating business requirements into automated system tasks and workflows.
