ALM Commercial Landscaping is Hiring an Accounts Payable Administrator Near Huntsville, AL

ALM Commercial Landscaping is searching for a Account Payables (AP) Administrator to join its team. This position completes payments and controls expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling payable invoices for all of our Alabama locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Receives, enters and processes all payable invoices into company systems and matches to purchase orders.
  • Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries.
  • Enter month indirect cost invoices for multiple locations/companies.
  • Accurately tracks bills, credits and payments to vendors in company systems; reconciles vendor statements ad resolves receipt matching problems.
  • Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Runs reports to verify entries to report balances.
  • Maintain copies of payments, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements.
  • Enter new or update vendor names, W-9s and other information.
  • Process monthly credit card invoices as required.
  • Participate in month end close procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
  • At least two years of Accounts Payables (AP) experience required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks; prior experience in an enterprise accounting system, preferably NetSuite, is ideal.
  • Spanish language is a plus.
  • Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, and copier.
  • Excellent data entry skills and tech savvy.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Driven to provide high levels of customer service and to provide high-quality work.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
