Alamo Concrete Products Company is Hiring a HR Coordinator Near San Antonio, TX

Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete, aggregate (rock) and sand to the batch plants.

Job Description

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for opening/closing the front office, greeting/helping visitors both in-person and over the phone and provide administrative support to the HR department, including new hire paperwork, filing, scanning, and data entry.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Opening/ closing front office and maintaining breakroom
  • Answering incoming phone calls/e-mails
  • Greeting/assisting/directing incoming visitors
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing new hire paperwork and ensuring all required documentation is collected
  • Scheduling and tracking new hire physicals and drug testing
  • Maintain relationship with clinics in Texas
  • Process new hire motor vehicle records
  • Respond to employment verifications
  • Assist with company/office special events
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Must have at least a High School Diploma
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
