CDS in Texas, an affiliate of Disability Services of the Southwest, is seeking a HR Coordinator in San Antonio!

Essential Tasks:

• Verify receipt of all forms required of new hires under appropriate program rules; ensure all employees’ documents are in compliance with the CDS regulations, notifying clients as necessary regarding missing or incomplete documentation; and notify clients when all paperwork is complete.

• Assure criminal background checks, NAR and EMR, and OIG are completed; that client is notified and that notification is documented on form 1725.

• Maintain CPR, pay changes, address changes, and license renewal documentation in all files.

• Assist clients as necessary in completing all new hire documentation.

• Maintain records and complete changes necessary for terminations.

• Enter new hires into all required programs to ensure payroll can be processed and that employees can be tracked.

• Coordinate processing of new hires with payroll department.

• Observe confidentiality policies at all times.

• Comply with federal, state, & company policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Associate's Degree or another 2-year degree is preferred.

• One-year experience in human resources and/or healthcare.

• Competence in MS Office.

• Must be able to type a minimum of 35 wpm and be comfortable using and creating Excel spreadsheets.

• Ability to recognize problems, communicates effectively, and works independently.
